When Buying Makes Sense

Buying makes sense when your utilisation is high (the truck runs 4-5 days a week consistently), demand is predictable (you know the work will be there for years), and you have the capital or financing capacity.

When Rental Makes Sense

If your demand is intermittent, seasonal, or uncertain, rental avoids the risk of owning an underutilised asset. A truck that sits in the yard 3 days a week costs the same in registration, insurance, and depreciation as one that runs every day.
