Heathwood
Our main operational hub. Central to the southside industrial areas, the Port of Brisbane access corridor, and the start of the Ipswich Motorway heading west.

Brisbane & surrounds
Heathwood, Virginia, Burpengary and Ipswich. Whichever way the city has you pinned, the responding unit comes from the closest one rather than across town.
24/7 dispatch · six depots across South East QLD · we quote before we roll
Brisbane is not one towing market, it is four. The southside industrial belt and the port corridor behave nothing like the Gateway run north, and neither resembles the western approach through Ipswich. We keep depots in all of them because response time is fundamentally a map problem, not an effort problem.
Delta Heavy Towing covers the CBD and every surrounding suburb with heavy tow trucks, low loaders, tilt trays and a hydraulic rotator. Whether you are running a fleet or dealing with a single breakdown, dispatch is staffed 24 hours a day and the unit that reaches you is the nearest one available.
Coverage runs south through Logan to the Gold Coast, north up through Burpengary toward the Sunshine Coast, and west along the Warrego through Ipswich to Toowoomba — plus the M1, Gateway, Bruce and Cunningham corridors in between.
What we handle
Where each one sits, and the corridor it is there to cover.
Our main operational hub. Central to the southside industrial areas, the Port of Brisbane access corridor, and the start of the Ipswich Motorway heading west.
Covers Brisbane’s northside and inner city, plus the Gateway Motorway corridor running north toward the airport and beyond.
The northern depot. Moreton Bay, Caboolture, the Bruce Highway corridor and the northern approach into Brisbane.
Western coverage including Springfield, Goodna and Redbank Plains, and the Warrego Highway heading out toward Toowoomba.
Southern coverage from Logan through to Coolangatta, and across the border into Ballina and Tweed Heads.
Darling Downs coverage including the Warrego and New England Highways and the Surat Basin access corridors.
How it runs
Every service we offer is available from the Brisbane depots — nothing is regional-only.
Rigids, semis, B-doubles and road trains, with driveline disconnect on site where the gearbox will not cooperate.
Transit, school, charter and articulated buses, with school-hours callouts prioritised in dispatch.
Coordinated with Queensland Police, TMR incident controllers and your insurer, with our own traffic management on the truck.
NHVR permits, pilots and route surveys handled as one job rather than four separate problems.
Excavators, cranes and industrial equipment on low loaders, with site access confirmed before dispatch.
Depot transfers, auction deliveries and fleet moves booked in advance so they do not compete with emergency callouts.
Tell us the suburb or drop a pin, and what has stopped. We will dispatch from the closest depot and give you a real ETA.
Detail that matters
Brisbane is the centre of the network, not the edge of it.
With depots across Heathwood, Burpengary, Virginia, Ipswich, the Gold Coast and Toowoomba, we cover South East Queensland and Northern New South Wales as standard, and reach considerably further by arrangement.
That spread is what makes the response times work. A breakdown at Springfield is an Ipswich job. One at Deagon is a Virginia job. Both get a truck faster than they would from a single yard somewhere in the middle, and neither gets a quote inflated to cover a long dead-leg.
Straight answers
Our metro target is 45 minutes, and with four depots inside the greater Brisbane area we hit it more often than not. Dispatch will give you an ETA based on where the nearest available truck actually is, not on the target.
Yes — the Heathwood depot exists partly for that corridor. Our operators know the port procedures and container park layouts, which matters for turnaround time.
Motorway callouts are prioritised because of the safety and traffic implications, and our trucks carry their own traffic management gear so we can establish a safety zone on arrival.
We do. Operators with regular requirements get account pricing and consolidated monthly invoicing rather than a separate invoice for every callout.
Not a problem. We run to the Gold Coast, Toowoomba, the Sunshine Coast, regional Queensland and interstate. Long hauls are quoted with fuel, rest stops and relay drivers factored in upfront.
