Two different problems land on this page, and we handle both. The first is a truck you do not have — yours is in the workshop, freight has spiked, or a contract needs covering before you commit to buying. The second is a trailer sitting on a highway shoulder with nothing to pull it.
For the first, we hire out prime movers with experienced operators on short-term, long-term and one-way terms. For the second, we bring a prime mover to your trailer and get it moving, whether that is a breakdown recovery or a planned relocation between depots.
Every hire comes with a driver. Our operators hold HC or MC licences with current medicals and fatigue management training, and they know Brisbane’s road network, weight restrictions and loading facility requirements well enough that you are not paying for someone to learn them on your job.

Hire terms and what they suit
Three arrangements, chosen by how long you need the truck and where it finishes.
Long-term hire
A month and beyond. Suits contract work, project transport, or testing a new route before committing capital to a truck. Regular servicing by our maintenance team is included.
One-way hire
You need a truck in Brisbane and it needs to finish in Toowoomba, or Cairns, or Sydney. You pay for the job rather than the return leg, and we reposition the truck as part of our own fleet management.
Container movements
Port of Brisbane to warehouse, warehouse to rail terminal. Our operators know the port procedures, booking systems and container park layouts, which saves a surprising amount of time.
Freight haulage
General freight, palletised goods and bulk materials. We match the prime mover to your trailer type — flat top, curtain side, refrigerated or skeletal.
Trailer towing & relocation
Broken-down trailers, depot-to-depot relocations and empty repositioning. If your trailer is stuck without a prime mover, we bring one to it.

Weight restrictions, low bridges, loading facility access and the routes that work at 6am versus 4pm.

Scheduled servicing, pre-departure checks and full insurance cover. TruckSafe accredited and NHVR compliant.
- The right trailer combination
Where you need the complete package — prime mover, low loader, operator and rated load restraint — we supply it as one unit.
- A price agreed upfront
Hire rates and towing quotes are set before the job. Extensions are agreed, not assumed.

Detail that matters
Trailer recovery when the truck in front has failed
A loaded trailer on a highway shoulder is a different problem from a broken-down rigid, and it is time-sensitive in a different way.
If your prime mover has failed and the trailer is still loaded, the freight is usually the priority rather than the truck. We can bring a prime mover to the site, couple to your trailer and continue the delivery while the failed unit is recovered separately — which often turns a lost day into a late afternoon.
Where the trailer itself is the problem — suspension, brakes, a collapsed axle — we recover the trailer and its load with equipment rated for the combined weight, and coordinate with your workshop on where it goes next.

Questions operators ask
Can I hire a prime mover without a driver?
No. Every hire comes with one of our operators. It keeps the compliance, fatigue management and insurance position clean for both of us, and in practice it is what most customers want anyway.
How quickly can you supply a truck?
Same-day dispatch is often possible for short-term hire if you call in the morning. For longer arrangements a day or two of notice lets us allocate the right combination rather than whatever is free.
Do you handle Port of Brisbane container work?
Regularly. Our operators know the port booking systems, procedures and container park layouts, which matters more for turnaround time than most people expect.
My trailer is stranded but the load is fine. What are my options?
Usually the fastest path is a substitute prime mover to your trailer so the delivery continues, with the failed truck recovered separately afterwards. Call us and we will work out which order costs you least.
What licences do your drivers hold?
HC or MC depending on the combination, with current medical certificates and fatigue management training. Copies are available if your client or insurer needs them.
